Endless arguments with children.

Leading to endless arguments between parents.

Why can't they just do what they are told?

Why can’t we all just get along?

Unfortunately, there is no rule book on how to raise children.

The environment that parents where brought up in is very different to the current environment that our children are being brought up in. Schooling is completely different, our lives are running at a faster pace and who feels like cooking dinner when you get home from work. The pressures of money issues and lack of time to fit in anything especially quality family time just makes you want to go to bed and sleep.

The responsibility of parenting can sometimes be very overwhelming. Our culture has changed and we weren’t given the strategies on how to manage as we were growing up which is why it can feel like you are just falling into a blackhole that you can’t get out of.

There is help. As a Children’s Health and Behaviour Specialist, this is a key area that I work on when working with children and families. I have over 20 years’ experience working with children, teenagers, and parents.

Some signs you may see in children who are having trouble include:

- Difficulty sleeping
- Losing interest in activities
- Weight gain
- Anxiety and insecurities
- Behaviour outbursts
- Fussy eating
- Gut issues
- Sibling battles

Some signs I may see in parents who are having trouble include:

- Stress
- Anxiety
- Feeling overwhelmed
- Depression
- Disconnection in the relationship
- Weight gain or loss
- Insomnia
- Gut issues

The first 8 years in a child's life are the most crucial in teaching communication skills and emotional development. These first years lay the blueprint for the rest of their life.

With over 20 years’ experience working with children and teenagers it is only natural that one of my specialties as a Naturopath became Children's Health and Behaviour. I understand children. I understand their body language, their behavioural patterns, and their health conditions.

I have many years of experience running parenting workshops as well as children's behaviour workshops for industry staff.

I have worked as an Early Childhood Teacher, a Director and an Operations Manager for over 20 years in the childcare industry. I have built and restructured many childcare centres to turn them into amazing educational centres rather than just babysitting places. My passion is children. So now I am combining my passion for children with my knowledge and experience in natural medicine.

My education includes two degrees, one in teaching and one in Health Science to become a Naturopath. I believe passionately in what I do and that I can help many families.

Who am I?

I am a Bachelor qualified Naturopath who specialises in improving metabolic processes in the body. Major areas for improvement include gut, thyroid, kidney, skin and liver health. Conditions such as hypothyroidism, fatty liver, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, type II diabetes, & irritable bowel conditions. I help my patients by giving them symptomatic relief while working on repairing the underlying causes of metabolic stress and waste accumulation. Patients experience amazing results which are seen in their blood tests with improved thyroid markers, cholesterol, and liver markers.  As well as lower blood pressure and see relief from improved gastrointestinal symptoms like the ones that mean you need to know where every single toilet is before you leave the house.
